With use of print, photography, graphics, paint and textiles, the artists blend their Indian experiences and global views with unconventional techniques. By fusing mixed media, elements of illusions and reality are blended in such a way that its entertaining to the eye. Made using unconventional techniques and exploratory ingredients, the paintings and prints stand out as a tribute to India with its colors, beauty and unique structure. The Collective pays tribute to the strong mind of the female, the quirks of life and the changing perspective from different life experiences.
Anne-Marie Twigge; UK born, raised in the Netherlands, illustrator/designer. Started off in architectural design, rolling into interior design and then branding. Worked in several industries and for different brands, and in China as a branding professional. Specializes mostly in digital design.
Lin Hurlen Kvifte; Norwegian, MBA from the US and business advisory professional. Started her creative career in the backyard. Galleries and exhibitions followed. Use a mixture of collages with photography, textiles and acrylic paint. Paintings come to live with the different structures. Both Lin and Anne-Marie currently reside in Mumbai.
